Automatic gain control

AGC - Automatic Gain Control, or Automatic Gain Control, is a state-of-the-art feature by which the Signaflex amplifier independently controls the parameters of its operation and, depending on the current data, increases or decreases the strength of the gain to ensure optimal results, thereby minimizing the chances of interference.

The signal transmitted by a BTS mast is not always of the same quality and depends on the current weather conditions and the load of the transmitter in question. By installing an amplifier equipped with AGC, you can rest assured and not worry that the device will degrade network reception for other users in the area.

5 ranges of operation

  • GSM - (Global System for Mobile Communications), the most popular cell phone standard today, still responsible for more than 90% of voice calls, operating on the 900MHz band. Data transmission on this frequency is also possible, but offers very low transmission speeds.
  • E-GSM - (Extended GSM) the range of frequencies used by networks operating in the GSM standard covering 880 - 890 MHz (uplink) and 925 - 935 MHz (downlink). Relative to regular GSM, users using PLAY networks can achieve better call quality.
  • LTE - (Long Term Evolution), a standard for wireless data transmission on radio bands, mainly responsible for enabling high-speed wireless Internet at speeds of up to about 100Mbps
  • DCS - (Digital Communication System) a GSM standard in which speech and data transmission can take place in the 1710 - 1880 MHz frequency band. It is the second most widespread GSM standard in the world, after GSM 900.
  • HSPA+ - (Evolved High Speed Packet Access) a wireless broadband communications standard that provides mobile Internet access at speeds of up to 42 Mbps.
