Ecological and energy-efficient floor, wall or ceiling heating is possible with infrared heating film, which is made of the highest quality materials, including carbon paste, so that it effectively transfers heat in the form of infrared radiation.

Heating foil, as a kind of extremely thin and flexible infrared radiator, will find its application as:

  • directly under wooden and laminated panels

  • wall heating

  • heating of mirrors

How does the Cronos infrared heating foil work?

Heating foil is one of the most popular solutions for underfloor heating. Its quick installation and lack of need to connect to a complex heating system are the most frequently cited advantages. Heating foil is a type of very thin and flexible infrared radiator, the surface of which is covered with carbon paste, thanks to which the phenomenon of infrared radiation occurs.

The electrical resistance created on the graphite and carbon bands results in the formation of long IR-C wavelengths, which effectively heat living organisms and objects, without unnecessary energy loss for heating the air. This type of radiation has many health-promoting properties and is compared to the heat we feel, during sunny days.

Heating film under panels

Thin infrared radiant heating film can be laid directly under wood and laminate panels. The surface of the film must be covered only with a vapor barrier film. The method of laying the panels does not change, and the heat is transferred directly into the room. The temperature is managed by a thermostat.
